There’s nothing wrong with

wanting to do things differently.

Rebalancing your body with real food is a bit of a rebellious act these days. But you’ve never been one to take no for an answer. Why should taking care of your health be any different?

That power is all yours. Only you can learn how to tune in with and reconnect to your body. And, if you want to naturally using real food, it’s up to you to take ownership of that entire process.

Hey, I’m Jess

I teach women the tools they need to heal themselves.

As a pharmacist and real food nutritionist, I’ve seen a lot of sick women. And, I’ve dealt with my fair share of health issues, too. Through those experiences, I’ve seen over and over again that real food is single-handedly the most powerful medicine we have.

My approach to healing took a drastic turn when I realized 
I wasn't interested in taking medication for the rest of my life.

I wanted my bodily autonomy back.

And, I wanted to see other women take theirs back, too.

At the height of my health struggles, I felt helpless. I felt like my body was completely out of control and there was nothing I could do to help myself.


My hormones had gone haywire. For me, that resulted in drastic weight gain, debilitating & inconsistent menstrual cycles, feeling depressed, and my skin was wildly inflamed with hormonal acne and eczema.

But, it felt like no matter where I went

I just heard the same old story.

We don’t know why you’re sick, but there’s a pill for that.

I wanted to understand the cause of my health issues and actually fix them. I didn’t want a medication to just keep my symptoms at bay. I wanted to truly heal. But, for a long time, it felt like the solutions I was looking for were nowhere to be found.


In my work as a pharmacist, I saw a consistent pattern. Medication either didn’t touch these hormonal issues at all or it worked for a little while, but eventually, it would stop. I wasn’t interested in that. I was interested in optimal health and looking for a long-term solution that would help me get there.

When conventional medicine

failed to deliver what I needed,

I realized I had to take

my health into my own hands.

Through that realization, I rediscovered my lifelong love for food. But, this time I was seeing it in a whole new light.

Similar to a drug or supplement, the food you eat impacts your body on a cellular level. That that way, food quite literally is medicine. But, unlike a drug or supplement, your body consistently uses the food you eat to actually build your hormones (and everything else in your body).

Food is the most powerful medicine we have because it's literally what your body is made of. And, it's the only medicine that we all have to take. 

But, because nothing is ever quite that

simple, I quickly found myself bumping

up against a couple more problems:

What even is real food? And, will all real foods work for me and my hormones?

To answer those questions, I needed some concrete data-driven ways to see what was working for my body and what wasn’t. I found that learning to align what I was eating with my personal blood sugar response gave me all of the data I needed, without making me feel totally overwhelmed.

The only babes I currently have possess fur and/or wings. Someday I’m sure we’ll add some human munchkins to the mix, too.

I think Mother Nature provides us with everything we need to be vibrantly healthy.

The solutions most of us are looking for are right in front of us. True health comes from real food and reconnecting with the natural world. It’s not hiding in a bottle of pills.

Truthfully, all of the work that I do stems from a very deep-rooted love for food.

Food is absolutely my love language.

Actually, I think it’s the only one I have. If you’ve ever eaten something created by my hands in my kitchen, it means I probably like ya. And, the fact that the food we eat can fundamentally change our health? Well, that’s just an added bonus.
